From Aug. 12 to 15, Spanish Fork, Utah, will hold the Utah Country Fair, featuring carnival rides, food vendors, 4-H exhibits, horse and livestock shows, live entertainment and a demolition derby. While admission to the fair is free, the demolition derby costs $7 for children and $10 for adults.
Taking place at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, the demolition derby is expected to be the highlight of the fair. As many as 40 cars will battle it out for the chance to compete in the main event and to drive off with the $11,000 purse.
The derby will take place on the final day of the county fair (Saturday, Aug. 15) at 7 p.m., and this year’s derby will have assigned seating.
