Red Mountain Resort in St. George, Utah, is challenging travelers to “detox” from electronics and reconnect alongside the region’s red rock bluffs. Guests can book the Red Mountain Digital Detox Spring Deal through May 27, from $230 per person.

“We aren’t cognizant of how reliant we have become on digital devices and technology,” said Tracey Walsh, general manager. “Red Mountain acknowledges how important it is for guests to take time to remove themselves from the outside world to gain new perspective and motivation.”

The promotion is designed with adventure and relaxation in mind, and supplementary options are available for customized retreats. With this offer, travelers who purchase an Essential Retreat Package receive a complimentary specialty hike and a 50-minute massage. Guests can also add other options to their package, such as mountain biking for $159 per person, rappelling for $150 per person, the Successful Meditation Group Workshop for $55 per person or the Coping Successfully with Relentless Stress retreat for $450 per person.

Coping Successfully With Relentless Stress is a three-day retreat led by Andrea Hanson, a certified energy health practitioner. The retreat aims to “combat the effects of stress overload, perpetuated by the digital age” through hiking, yoga and meditation. Available dates are April 27-29, Aug. 24-26 and Oct. 19-21.
