Seattle's Pacific Science Center will be the only U.S. west coast venue for Harry Potter: The Exhibition, on display Oct. 23, 2010-Jan. 30, 2011.
The 10,000-square-foot experiential exhibition features hundreds of artifacts from all of the Harry Potter films, including items from the two-part finale to the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Clients can experience the craftsmanship of more than 200 authentic costumes and props from the Harry Potter films displayed in settings inspired by the films sets, including the Great Hall, Hagrid's hut and the Gryffindor common room.
While touring through the exhibition space, visitors can discover iconic items such as Harry's original wand and eyeglasses, the Marauder's Map, Gryffindor school uniforms as well as costumes worn at the Yule Ball. In the Quidditch area, they can toss a Quaffle, pull their own Mandrake in the Herbology vignette, and encounter Buckbeak the Hippogriff and a giant Acromantula spider.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 1 will show at the Pacific Science Center’s Boeing IMAX Theater when the film opens to the public on Nov. 19, 2010.
