Hyatt Regency Belllevue Tops Off Tower

The project is on track for its July 2009 opening

The Hyatt Regency Bellevue recently topped off its second guest room tower, reaffirming that the project is on track for its July 2009 opening. The expansion will double the hotel’s guest room capacity and triple the available meeting space.

Once construction is completed, the hotel will boast 733 redesigned rooms featuring Hyatt Grand Beds, high speed Internet access and 32- inch LCD flat-panel televisions. Clients will be able to use the new 7,000-square-foot workout complex and heated indoor lap pool.

In addition to guest rooms, the 20-story second tower will add ballroom and exhibit space to met the growing demand for large-group business and social functions. The new 18,000-square-foot grand ballroom will be the largest hotel ballroom in the area. A 14,000- square-foot exhibition ballroom and 120-seat auditorium will also be housed in the new tower.

Bellevue is located just across Lake Washington from Seattle, a ten- minute drive from downtown.
