The Pacific Science Center’s "Tutankhamen: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs" exhibit is painting Seattle gold.
Now through Jan. 6, 2013, patrons to the Seattle exhibit can exchange their ticket stubs and receive a Pharaoh’s Gold Card. The card entitles holders to special offers at participating restaurants, businesses and attractions in the Seattle area.
The Pharaoh's Gold Card offers dozens of discounts, including the following:
• A three course dinner at the Capital Grille for $39
• $25 off a King Tut wrap at the Westin Bellevue’s Truce Spa
• A $500 discount on the Super Luxury Egypt Tour from Spirit Quest Tours, Dec. 9-22, 2012
• A 10 percent discount on any limited edition King Tut Olive Oil or aged balsamic vinegar at 11 Olives, a shop in downtown Seattle.
Also offered during the duration of the exhibit are exclusive King Tut hotel rates and packages at 12 downtown Seattle hotels. Various packages include VIP tickets to the exhibit, Pharaohs' welcome baskets, round-trip Seattle Center Monorail tickets and pyramid chocolates.
