The Seattle Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a travel website and itinerary-building platform that highlights Seattle's unique art and culinary scene.
Dubbed 2 Days in Seattle, the new website offers a user-friendly interactive map containing descriptions and links for local businesses, attractions, dining and accommodation options. A hotel booking search function is built in as well.
By using the new website, travel agents and their clients can find out what food, wine, art and culture experts -- called curators -- are saying about Seattle, and they can create an itinerary based on authentic reviews and descriptions by past visitors.
Designed to promote overnight stays, 2 Days in Seattle serves as a companion site to the bureau's main website, www.visitseattle.org.
