Salish Lodge and Spa, a mountain retreat 30 minutes east of Seattle, is offering four new adventure packages inviting clients to explore Washington’s Cascade Mountains and the Snoqualmie Valley by boat, foot or bike. The lodge is partnering with local outfitters to offer guided excursions throughout the region, including fly-fishing, river kayaking, mountain biking and hiking.
The Fly-Fishing Getaway is a half-day excursion on the Snoqualmie River and provides equipment, a personal guide, snacks and beverages.
The half-day River Kayaking Package, designed for novices to intermediate paddlers and requiring no prior experience, includes instruction, gear, transportation, snacks and beverages.
The guided Mountain Biking Adventure explores terrain throughout Snoqualmie and includes snacks, beverages, mountain bike and helmet rental.
The Hike and Stay Package lets clients explore the forests, rivers, lakes and waterfalls of the Snoqualmie Valley.
“We feel extremely fortunate to offer these world-class adventure opportunities as one of several unique guest amenities,” said Salish Lodge and Spa general manager Lenny Zilz. “We have great confidence that the outfitters with whom we have partnered will offer unparalleled experiences while upholding the same commitment to excellent guest service that we provide here at the Lodge.”
Each adventure package includes one night of accommodations. Following a day exploring the waters or trails of the Snoqualmie Valley, clients return to a guest room outfitted with a wood-burning fireplace, goose- down comforter, feather bed and two-person whirlpool tub.
Each excursion departs directly from the lodge. Package rates range from $429 to $649 per night, including transportation. Packages are available through September 15.
