Grand Teton Lodge Company, which operates various lodging properties, restaurants, tours and activities throughout Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, recently announced opening dates for the 2008 summer season.
The company’s full-service resort, Jackson Lake Lodge, opened first on May 19 with scheduled Snake River Floats and horseback rides resumed on May 24. The lodge sits on a bluff overlooking Jackson Lake and the Teton mountain range.
Colter Bay Village, which offers guests a chance to stay in log or tent cabins, or park their RVs on a traditional campground, opened on May 23. The village’s full-service marina resumed operations on May 24, while its horse corrals will open on June 1.
At the end of May, Jenny Lake Lodge will reopen. The lodge specializes in romantic activities such as lakeside strolls and picnics. An all-inclusive stay at the lodge includes breakfast, a prix fixe five-course dinner, horseback rides and bike rental.
