On May 25, the Jackson Hole Mountain resort (JHMR), opened its Aerial Tram for the summer season. The tram offers an unforgettable experience in the Jackson Hole valley, bringing visitors 4,000 vertical feet to the top of the Tetons for stunning views of the Wyoming landscape.
JHMR is looking forward to an exciting summer season. In addition to the tram opening, the resort will offer a variety of other summer activities for visitors. The Jackson Hole Bike Park, accessed by the Teewinot Chairlift, is scheduled to open on June 15, followed by the Bridger Gondola and the Deck and Couloir Restaurants on June 23. The resort will also host the Concert on the Commons series, which kicks off with “Red, White and 2,” the annual July 3-4 celebration, and continues on Sundays in July and August.
“Winter 2013 ended with the highest level of skier/rider visits in the resort’s history, with over 500,000 skier days,” said JHMR president, Jerry Blann. There seems to be a lot of momentum in the marketplace for Jackson Hole, and now with the National Parks opening on schedule, we are very optimistic for a strong summer in Jackson Hole.”
Locals are eligible to ride the Aerial Tram for free until June 14, and to receive a 50 percent discount during peak season.
