Luxury refurbishment finished for former Sheraton hotel

Hotel Imperial Kuala Lumpur, A Luxury Collection hotel, announced the completion of its $12 million refurbishment program, and made its debut recently by welcoming guests to relaunch events. The launch also signifies the reinvigoration of the Luxury Collection brand in Asia.

Hotel Imperial Kuala Lumpur offers guests an all-day dining restaurant and fabulous guestrooms and suites. As a member of the Luxury Collection, Hotel Imperial Kuala Lumpur aims to deliver an exceptional, indigenous experience to all guests. The 385 rooms feature designs inspired by Malaysia's colorful landscape, diverse culture and friendly people.

The third largest luxury hotel brand in the world, the Luxury Collection strives to deliver unparalleled attention to their guests’ needs and preferences. The brand aims to seamlessly integrate the customs, culture and environment of each property’s locale.

Guestrooms feature fresh, modern designs, making them ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Each room has natural daylight that will provide each guest with an area suitable for their business needs. Guests who need to be connected via the Internet will be assured of a convenient and efficient high-speed wired and wireless broadband network connectivity, that allows them to access the Web from anywhere in the hotel. Each room is also equipped with WiFi/broadband connectivity, a hospitality port which enables guests to connect personal laptop, iPod or other entertainment unit to be viewed on the 40” LCD television.

A new addition to the hotel is the Pavilions Court, which serves afternoon tea between 3pm and 6pm with live classical entertainment. The new concept restaurant is called Essence, which offers an a la carte menu and international buffet and is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Another restaurant, Celestial Court, offers Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. Celestial Court boasts new mouth-watering specialties with combinations of fresh ingredients in every dish. The restaurant serves a wide variety of dim sum buffet on Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Villa Danieli serves exquisite authentic Italian family recipes. At the restaurant, guests are greeted with a warm ambience: The restaurant features an open kitchen complete with custom made wood burning oven and rotisseries. It is open daily for lunch and dinner from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., except Sunday.
