Agents can help their clients get the most bang for their buck if they’re willing to act quickly. Usually priced at $1,899 per person, Pacific Delight Tours’ new China Impressions tour, through Beijing, Shanghai and Shozhou, can be dropped to 1,599 when booked with a deposit by June 30. Those departing from the Los Angeles or San Francisco airports must add $150 to the total cost. Some restrictions apply, and departure dates for the 10-day tour begin on Sept. 3 and end on Oct 27.

“There has never been a greater moment to experience China,” said Jerry Pi, president of Pacific Delight Tours. “Unlike most destinations, international travel to China has not been adversely affected by the economy. However, new hotel openings and expansions as well as increased flight capacity have created greater competition among upscale properties allowing us to negotiate once-in-a-lifetime price points at five-star, luxury accommodations on behalf of our valued customers.”

The comprehensive trip is ideal for first-timers to China because clients will visit the iconic Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City’s Imperial Palace (including jewelry section), Summer Palace, the Great Wall and the Terra-Cotta Warriors.

In Suzhou, which is known as the Venice of the East, clients will cruise the Grand Canal and, if time permits, the tour will stop at Tiger Hill.

The tour includes roundtrip airfare, eight nights in five-star and deluxe hotels, most meals, a bilingual tour guide, sightseeing and more.
