All travelers also have a chance to explore attractions such as the Eternal Spring Shrine, the Swallow Grotto and the Tunnel of Nine Turns at the Taroko Gorge, a marble gorge named after the Truku aboriginal world for magnificent. Travelers on both tours will also travel to Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan’s largest natural lake, for an encounter with the Thao Tribe, a group of Taiwan’s indigenous aboriginals who live on sacred Lalu Island in the middle of the lake.

Travelers on the extended eight-day tour will enjoy an expanded program that features additional sightseeing around Sun Moon Lake and visits to the Wen-Wu Temple, the Tse-En Pagoda and the Folk Street of Lukang.
