Amanyara resort, in Turks and Caicos, is extending its summer rates through Dec. 18 for all pavilion and villa accommodations at the resort, including the new Beach Villa category that opened on Nov. 1.
Only a few steps from the reefs of Northwest Point Marine National Park, the resort features terraced pavilions, nestled on the edge of ponds and along the shoreline. The pavilions, covered with 40 timber-shingles, boast three terraces, a central bedroom and living room.
The villa accommodations, on the other hand, have spacious living areas, outdoor dining areas and three, four or five bedrooms. The new Beach Villas give guests close access to Amanyara’s white-sand beach.
The extended summer rates start at $1,100 for a pavilion and $11,000 for a five-bedroom Beach Villa with a cook and housekeeper. Summer rates are not applicable during the Thanksgiving holiday, from Nov. 26-30.
The rates include airport transfers, non-motorized water sports, the use of tennis courts, a mini-bar (non-alcoholic) and telephone calls. Villa bookings require a three-night minimum stay, but stays of five nights or more receive complimentary breakfast and dinner served from the villa’s kitchen.
However, once Jan.4, 2009 rolls around, pavilions will start at $1,550 and villas will cost approximately $13,950.
