The Verandah Resort & Spa, in northeast Antigua, is offering a Tranquility Spa package to celebrate its newly opened spa. The package is available through March 31 and features five nights’ accommodations in one of Verandah Resort & Spa’s 200 suites for $1,299 per person. All meals, beverages, non-motorized water sports, a bottle of champagne, taxes and service charges are included in the price.

Additionally, the Tranquility Spa package provides two massages and a $100 resort credit to be used at The Spa, which debuted last October. Spa treatments include a caviar and pearl anti-aging facial, a detoxifying seaweed wrap and a green coffee wrap designed to reduce cellulite. Another favorite is the signature Well Being massage, which combines Swedish massage techniques with movements designed to improve circulation, ease tension, reduce stress and relax the body. Sabai stone treatments and Thai Yoga massage are also available.

“Our guests appreciate the spa’s carefully selected menu of restorative experiences and spacious, yet intimate, ambience,” says Steven E. Heydt, president, Elite Island Resorts. “Like the resort itself, the spa is serene and relaxing designed to blend with the environment, while not sacrificing the luxury aspects of an upscale resort. Treatments feature world-class Pevonia Botanica spa products.”

The Verandah Resort & Spa also has a fitness center, a mini cinema, three restaurants, four bars and a Kid’s Club. Outdoor facilities offered by the resort include hiking trails, two beaches and a water-sports center featuring equipment and instruction for non-motorized water activities such as windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and catamaran sailing.
