Celebrity Cruises wants guests to know that taking the kids on vacation doesn’t mean a break from learning. The line is enhancing its onboard activities for children of all ages by working with LeapFrog SchoolHouse. Together they will offer multi- sensory learning tools and instruction that fit nicely into Celebrity’s travel itineraries everywhere.

The new program focuses on a range of subjects including dinosaurs, space, wildlife, art, music and even sports. In addition, several Celebrity itineraries have been tailored to expose children to the heritage and customs of particular cruise destinations in an entertaining way. They can learn about the crafts, art and music of places such as Alaska, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Mexico and the Mediterranean.

LeapFrog SchoolHouse is recognized for its interactive, electronic education products and programs for pre-kindergarten through grade 8.

They have created six exclusive educational modules for passengers aged

3 through 9. And, the company’s most popular products will also be available onboard, including personal learning tools (PLTs) such as LeapPad PLT, Quantum LeapPad PLT, the Leapster handheld, the new L-Max Leapster handheld and the Odyssey Globe. Celebrity also provides a full line of LeapFrog toddler products within its X-Club youth facility.

Celebrity's current nine-ship fleet will be joined by Celebrity Solstice in 2008, Celebrity Equinox in 2009, and a third Solstice-class ship in 2010.
