Crystal Cruises has announced a variety of new savings promotions for 2007 and 2008. The offers and insider tips, as well as complimentary services and amenities, provide special value for travelers seeking luxury vacations.

Guests can save up to 48 percent on six late August and fall 11- and 12-day Mediterranean voyages aboard Crystal Serenity. Cruises depart from Venice, Monte Carlo, Athens, Istanbul and Rome. Fares start at $3,890.

For 2007 Thanksgiving voyages, kids sail free and cruisers can save up to an additional $1,000 per couple.

The November specials allow travelers to save $500 per person in most stateroom categories, including verandahs, on voyages through the Panama Canal and Caribbean aboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.

Kids aged 11 and under will sail free when sharing a stateroom with two full-fare adults. Crystal Serenity has also increased its third berth capacity by 15 percent, offering more choices for families. With the new promotion and special savings fares, guests can save up to 60 percent off brochure fares, which start at $2,195. And, as always, Crystal’s family-friendly activities and supervised junior activities beckon to families.

Savings of up to 52 percent can also be had with Value Collection sailings. Crystal’s 2008 Value Collection features 11 sailings of 10 to 17 days through the Panama Canal, South America, the Mediterranean, Western Europe, Caribbean and a Trans-Pacific voyage from Los Angeles to Hong Kong.

For new bookings made before Sept. 14, guests can save 20 percent on all deluxe stateroom accommodations, including verandah staterooms, and 10 percent on all penthouse accommodations aboard Crystal Symphony’s 13-day Western European voyage departing May 25 from Athens to London. Fares start at $3,995.

Those seeking a longer vacation can combine Crystal Symphony’s May 25 Athens to London cruise with the cruise prior or following and save 20 percent on all categories of staterooms and suites for new bookings made before Sept. 14 when doing so. The combination cruises offer guests a 27-day exploration of Egypt, the Mediterranean and Western Europe, or a 24-day journey from Greece to the Baltic Sea. Clients could also opt to combine all three for a 38-day cruise and receive total savings of $3,840 per person.

Other saving strategies include onboard booking savings of 4 to 4½ percent for guests booking a future cruise while onboard; a discount of 3½ percent when paying in full six months in advance; a special singles fare at 125 percent of the applicable double occupancy fare; and additional discounts as a Crystal Society member.
