Carnival Cruise Lines will introduce new five- and nine-day Mexican Riviera cruises aboard the 2,124-passenger Carnival Spirit from Dec. 10 through April 1. The sailings replace the Spirit’s previous eight-day Mexican Riviera program. Guests scheduled to sail on the eight-day cruises can switch to a new nine-day Mexican Riviera cruise with their eight-day cruise fare protected or rebook an alternative Carnival sailing and receive a $50 per person onboard credit or cancel and receive a full refund. Agent commissions will be protected.
The five-day cruises will visit Cabo San Lucas for two full days; nine-day cruises will also make a two-day call in Cabo San Lucas in addition to visits to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and La Paz.
Nine-day cruises depart on Fridays and return on Sundays; five-day cruises depart on Sundays and return on Fridays. Pricing starts at $469 and $279 per person, respectively.
Following the new season of sailings, Carnival Spirit will sail its previously scheduled 12-day Hawaii cruises (April 10 and 22, 2011) and a full season of seven-day Alaska cruises departing from Seattle (beginning May 10, 2011).
