With the first of the three recently purchased Seabourn ships coming into its fleet next year, Windstar Cruises is returning to Tahiti and announcing creative new itineraries in Europe.
European sailings include 15 itineraries with nine new ports of call as the line sails through Italy and Malta, Europe’s West Coast Isles of Greece and the Amalfi coast.
From May to November, Wind Spirit will offer a seven-day itinerary in Tahiti, roundtrip Papeete, visiting Moorea, Taha’a. Raiatea, Huahine and Bora Bora.
Other new itineraries include the 10-day Sicilian Splendors, with Wind Surf sailing around the Isle of Sicily to explore features from the ruins of Pompeii and Capri’s Blue Grotto to the spectacular Amalfi Coast, departing Oct. 29. This cruise visits five new ports including Catania, Porto Empedocle and Trapani, Italy; and Valletta and Gozo, Malta; as well as Lipari, Sorrento, and Capri, Italy and one night at sea.
The eight-day Gems of the Adriatic takes Wind Surf to the Greek Isles, the Ionian Islands and the Croatian Riviera, departing from Venice on Oct. 5 and Athens on Oct. 13. New ports of call include Butrint, Albania; Brindisi, Italy; and Hvar, Croatia; as well as visits to Gythion, Greece; and Dubrovnik and Rovinj, Croatia, along with one day at sea.
The eight-day Best of Europe’s West Coast sails from Lisbon on July 4 and from Dublin on Sept. 4. Wind Surf calls in Porto, Portugal; Vigo and A Coruna, Spain; Brest, France; Isle of Scilly, Cornwall, England, and Waterford, Ireland.
