Travelers drawn to the history and culture of the Adriatic can cruise to high-profile destinations in the region along with lesser-known ports of great charm. Among the regional ports in the Adriatic Sea are Korcula, an island first settled in Mesolithic and Neolithic times when traditional Croatian music and sword dances flourished, and the UNESCO town of Kotor in Montenegro. Fortified since the Middle Ages, Kotor has a very interesting motto above the town’s entrance: “What belongs to others we don't want, what is ours we will never surrender.”

TravelAge West presents a video overview of several popular ports of call in the Adriatic including Dubrovnik, Kotor, Korcula and Venice.
