Throughout the month of October families are invited to visit more than 100 San Diego attractions, restaurants and hotels participating in the city-wide “Kids Free San Diego.” The promotion offers a variety of travel incentives for families, ranging from complimentary meals and sightseeing tours throughout town to welcome amenities at hotels. Participants in the month-long promotion include Legoland, SeaWorld, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina and Amtrak.
Fall Fun in Ojai, Calif.
Families can experience one of the most desirable places to live in the U.S. this fall with an exclusive package from Ojai Valley Spa & Inn. Located in the picturesque town of Ojai, Calif. and a 75-minute drive from Los Angeles, the inn is offering a Fall Family Fun package through November 25.
Highlights from the package include large guestroom accommodations, daily breakfast for two adults and two children at The Oak restaurant, complimentary bike rentals and a personalized family scavenger hunt. A 25 percent discount to the inn’s Camp Oak children’s camp is included with the package.

Kids up to 11 years old can fly to Tahiti for discounted rates through Air Tahiti Nui’s Special Family Fare Deal. Adult tickets will start at $1,672 per adult for roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles, while up to two children’s tickets will cost between $63 and $125, depending on government taxes.
Single Parents Save in St. Maarten
Single parents with young children can save on travel to St. Maarten when they book Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino’s all-inclusive package. At the resort, kids under 12 will stay, play and eat for free, while mom or dad pays the adult rate with no single supplement. Children who are 13-17 will pay the regular child price of $45 per night.
The resort offers daily kids club activities, a welcome beach amenity for the children, a weekly pajama party and disco night and a family movie night with popcorn, candy and drinks.
