Ahh, the lure of Molokai. This raw, rural island is home to Hawaii’s longest white-sand beach, the world’s highest sea cliffs and a host of outdoor activities.

The Lodge & Beach Village at Molokai Ranch makes it easier than ever for your clients to experience this island paradise with Allure Rates and Adventure packages geared to value and fun.

Guests can select from two distinct accommodation options at the property, which was recently named among the world’s “Top 10 Up and Coming Destinations for 2006” by Frommer’s.

Located on a double-crescent white-sand beach, The Beach Village features unique tentalows that provide a true outdoors experience with many of the comforts of home. Each tentalow includes two canvas-sided bedrooms situated on a wooden platform with solar-powered lights, a private bathroom, dining area and lanai.

According to Kula Abiva, director of sales and marketing, The Beach Village is a natural for those attracted to secluded landscapes and outdoor activities.

“The setting is both rustic and romantic, offering the guest opportunities to explore quietly or engage in activities ranging from ocean kayaking and body boarding to gravity biking and cattle roundup,” he said.

Gracing the entrance to historic Maunaloa Town, The Lodge offers 22 spacious guestrooms, a Great Room with fireplace, fine dining room, day spa, swimming pool and wraparound verandahs with panoramic ocean and pasture views.

Allure Rates are the best accommodation rates available at The Beach Village or The Lodge for specified dates only, and reflect savings of up to 50 percent off rack rates. From July 15-Aug. 31, nightly Allure Rates are from $158 at The Beach Village and from $238 at The Lodge. Until June 1 and from Sept. 1Dec.20, nightly rates are from $148 and $208 respectively.

Abiva noted that the substantially discounted Allure Rates were created to encourage bookings during the shoulder and off-peak periods.

The property is also promoting two Adventure Packages allowing guests to design their own travel experiences. The Beach Village plan includes standard tentalow accommodations, breakfast and dinner at the Kaupoa Dining Pavilion, and a $30 activity credit for $179 per person per night. An additional third and fourth person charge of $116 each applies, with the same inclusions.

The Lodge package features deluxe accommodations, daily $50 dining credit and a $30 activity credit for $219 per person nightly. A third person charge of $140 applies, with the same inclusions.

Commissionable at 10 percent, package rates are based on single or double occupancy, and are subject to availability and restrictions.

“Sometimes guests will try both resorts during a single visit to Molokai,” noted Abiva. “However, The Lodge and The Beach Village are two distinctly different concepts. Some of our guests who come to Hawaii every year love the ambiance and romance of The Lodge, whereas those who go to The Beach Village go for this incredible experience with nature.”

Adding to the adventure, The Lodge & Beach Village at Molokai Ranch provides ample recreational options with wide appeal. Guests can choose from ocean kayaking, cultural hikes, mountain biking, horseback riding, clay shooting and beach activities.
