Big Values for Big Island in Fall

Choices range from cozy inns to AAA-Five Diamond accommodations

Hawaii’s Big Island is big on value this fall, presenting an assortment of packages catering to golfers, spa fans, adventure lovers and those simply wanting to relax.

For travelers planning to explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the Hilo side of the island tends to be most convenient. At the rainforest retreat of Chalet Kilauea - The Inn at Volcano, themed accommodations feature access to a six-person Jacuzzi in an outdoor spa. Through Dec. 19, guests enjoy a three-course candlelit gourmet breakfast, afternoon fireside tea, silken terry bathrobes, premium champagne, full massage for two and a special innkeeper’s gift from $215 nightly, double occupancy. Visitors can score with the “Unlimited Golf” package at the AAA-Five Diamond Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. This special covers a round of golf for two, each night of the stay, on the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Hualalai Golf Course, plus a choice of daily full American breakfast for two or a full-size Hertz sedan.
