Since the end of the year can often be stressful at home, clients sometimes crave a relaxing destination for celebrating the holidays. For them, American Safari Cruises has just the ticket: a weeklong adventure aboard a luxury yacht in sunny Hawaii.

The company’s 36-guest Safari Explorer is embarking on a holiday cruise in the Hawaiian Islands departing Dec. 22. The yacht injects the spirit of the holidays into its decor, activities and meals, and Santa makes an appearance if youngsters are onboard.

“Getting away for the holidays can be a very rejuvenating experience, especially by escaping to warm climes,” said Tim Jacox, American Safari’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. ”A special camaraderie develops between guests and crew sharing holiday celebrations.”

As an added incentive, guests who book by Sept. 30, receive a $500 travel credit per couple.

The Safari Explorer offers seven-night inclusive adventures between Hawaii Island and Lanai, with two days of activities on Molokai. Flexible yacht itineraries focus on the leeward side of the eastern-most Hawaiian Islands.

Activities include hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling and skiff excursions. Expert guides provide interpretation on excursions on shore and at sea. Unstructured itineraries allow time for viewing wildlife such as whales and dolphins.

Fares start at $5,695 per person and include all from-the-yacht activities and equipment; transfers; meals; wine, spirits and microbrews; and port charges, taxes and fees. With an all-American crew, American Safari offers a two-to-one guest-crew ratio. Yachts can be booked as a private charter or by individual stateroom.
