Pleasant Holidays has launched a series of new programs that reinforces the wholesaler’s commitment to Hawaii and Hawaii-bound visitors.

According to Amy Terada, vice president of marketing for the Westlake Village, California-based wholesaler, Pleasant is dedicated to delivering products and services that benefit Hawaii’s consumers, destinations and retail travel agents.

“Our partnerships with all resources - hotels, visitor bureaus, car rental companies, airlines and activities and our integrated efforts will benefit every level,” explained Terada.

By popular demand, Pleasant’s exclusive “2-for-1-ValuPak” money-saving coupon booklet has been extended through Dec. 4. Worth up to $500 in savings, this bonus is provided to travelers upon package booking.

The ValuPak offers two-for-one admissions to some of Hawaii’s most popular attractions, including snorkel and dinner cruise, musical extravaganzas, helicopter flights, city and island tours, and a submarine ride.

Included with all bookings except air/only, ValuPak savings are valid for activities on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii’s Big Island.

“If someone is really interested in taking advantage of attractions and activities, this is a great offer,” Terada commented. “People who want to have adventures and explore can save up to $500.”

In addition, car upgrades with Dollar Rent-A-Car will be provided along with the ValuPak. Travel agents can book these fully-commissionable activities in advance at

In another move that complements market expansion, Pleasant plans to launch Business Class service on its daily nonstop flights on ATA Airlines from both Los Angeles and San Francisco to Honolulu and Kahului, Maui. Effective Nov. 20, the new service is currently available for booking.

“We’re seeing our biggest growth in the deluxe and luxury markets right now,” continued Terada. “So this is perfect timing to launch our business class air service. Our travelers could already enjoy upgraded accommodations. Now, we’re able to provide an upgraded experience on the flight segment as well.”

Passenger perks will include:

* Priority boarding

* Dedicated check-in line

* Spacious, two-across leather seating

* Added legroom

* Complimentary cocktails

* Choice of three entrees

* Complimentary headsets and free movies
