Pleasant Holidays is focusing on Waikiki this spring, with several
getaways to this busy Oahu destination. The Westlake Village,
California-based wholesaler has partnered with the Waikiki Beach
Marriott Resort & Spa for a spring promotion that features
every fourth night free, plus a guaranteed one category room
upgrade in select accommodations.
Available on stays from March 15 - June 30, the five-night,
land-only holidays are $608 per person - reflecting a savings of
$290 per couple. Prices are based on double occupancy and include
accommodations, fresh flower lei greeting, roundtrip hotel/airport
transfers in Waikiki and hotel taxes. Additional room nights and
nationwide airfares are also available.
For avid athletes and their supportive fans, Pleasant has
created a special vacation package combining a stay in Waikiki with
the second annual JAL Honolulu Triathlon 2005. The triathlon is a
trial/qualifier event that precedes the ITU World Championship, run
on the same course in October. Pleasant is the official travel
provider for the April 17 event.
Available April 14 - 18, a four-night triathlon plan is priced
from $555 per person, including roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles
or San Francisco to Honolulu, fresh flower lei greeting, roundtrip
airport/hotel transfers, four nights’ hotel accommodations at an
Outrigger or OHANA property in Waikiki, breakfast orientation and
Honolulu Triathlon participants who already have their own
airfare can opt for the land-only travel package, including all of
the above (without the airfare) from $164 per person. Pre- and
post-travel extensions are also available, as are additional room
nights and nationwide airfares.
Guests flying to Honolulu from Los Angeles or San Francisco can
take advantage of Pleasant Holidays’ own daily scheduled air

For agent convenience, Pleasant has recently introduced
connectivity to its PleasantAgent.com website through TRAMS
ClientBase Plus. The new interface significantly streamlines the
on-line booking of Pleasant Holidays packages to 11,000-plus travel
agency locations using TRAMS products.
Utilizing ClientBase’s “Live Connect” interface, agents can
access PleasantAgent.com and bypass essential booking data -
clients’ names, address information, childrens’ ages, type of
credit card and card number. Instead, they will be directly logged
onto PleasantAgent.com’s Book and Purchase page to automatically
populate required entries.
In addition, detailed itinerary information is seamlessly sent
from PleasantAgent.com to ClientBase Plus, enabling agents to store
comprehensive client travel profiles.
