Picture a romantic meal for two overlooking the sea at sunset. At Napili Kai Beach Resort, that vision can become a reality thanks to its new Na Hoku (under the stars) dinner, a four-course gourmet spread in a private outdoor setting on an oceanfront bluff.

Overlooking crescent-shaped Napili Bay, the dinner begins with champagne, poured by a personal server dedicated to meet the couple’s needs throughout the evening. As the sun sets, the lights around the shoreline begin to twinkle, tiki torches are lit and dinner continues under the moon and stars.

Clients can choose from a selection of starters, entrees and desserts created exclusively for the Na Hoku experience. The all-inclusive price for the dinner is $225 per person, including wine selections paired with each course. The Na Hoku menu can be viewed on the resort’s website.

Napili Kai’s Na Hoku dinner is available to non-resort guests as well. It can also be expanded to include up to 12 people for an intimate wedding rehearsal dinner or reception, or simply for friends or family. Due to the exclusive setting for the dinner, only one Na Hoku dinner can take place each evening, so reservations are based on availability.

Meanwhile, the 10-acre northwest Maui property is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with a variety of special programs. Guests celebrating their own 50th anniversary are treated to a free dinner for two at the resort’s oceanfront Sea House Restaurant. Napili Kai is offering a seventh night free in oceanfront studio accommodations through Dec. 14, 2010, and it is sponsoring an online contest to win a one-week trip for two to the resort.
