The big news on the Big Island is the upcoming opening of Sheraton
Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, the first major hotel project in the
island’s Southwest realm for more than a decade.
Clients eager to meet the 522-room newcomer firsthand can stay
in one of its mountain-view rooms for $169 per night, double
occupancy, when travel is booked by Oct. 31, 2004. The offer,
called Get to Know Keauhou, is good on stays between Oct. 1 and
April 30, 2005.
“This rate offer will not be seen again at Sheraton Keauhou,”
said sales and marketing director Revell Newton. “We want to
introduce the resort to as many people as possible, and this is one
way to accomplish that.”
Sheraton Keauhou’s facilities and services include a spa,
fitness center, tennis courts, business center, children’s program,
two restaurants, two golf courses and a multi-level swimming pool
with a 200-foot-long lava-tube slide.
After sunset, the resort is offering up-close encounters with
the manta rays that feed along the adjacent shoreline. Sheraton
Keauhou’s Manta Experience takes guests into the water for a
nighttime snorkel or scuba excursion.
