As 2018 approaches, Hawaii hotels are more eager than ever to show travel agents some love. Around the state, several accommodations are dreaming up ways to thank advisors for their business.

Whether agents are lining up rooms for clients or booking their own island digs, Hawaii hotels are providing them with a support system to sweeten the process. Here are 10 great incentives designed to motivate travel professionals in 2018.

Aqua-Aston Hospitality
With Aqua-Aston’s ongoing cash back bonus program, agents can make up to $400 per booking. And during the company’s biannual booking bonus challenges, winners also earn gift cards and recognition in the quarterly newsletter. Agents heading to Hawaii can stay at participating properties at a 25 percent discount.

Hawaiian Hotels & Resorts
Agents get one free night for every two bookings made at Royal Kona Resort or Royal Lahaina Resort. Four or more bookings also provide them with daily breakfast for two, while six bookings add a luau to the rewards. At both hotels, clients receive a welcome letter and amenity on behalf of their agent.

Hilton Hotels in Hawaii
The Unlimited Rewards program thanks agents for each Hilton booking, with cash bonuses deposited onto prepaid debit cards. Agents who want to stay at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort on Oahu or Hilton Waikoloa Village on Hawaii Island receive 50 percent off the prevailing rate through June 1.

Hyatt Hotels in Hawaii
Here’s how the Slice of Paradise program works: For every four client nights booked at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa, Hyatt Regency Maui or Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, agents get one complimentary night for themselves. Each resort gives arriving clients a free amenity and personalized note from the agent.

The Kahala Hotel & Resort
Agents receive a $35 bonus for a three-night room booking at the Honolulu resort, while a three-night suite booking rewards them with $100. At the same time, The Kahala offers visiting agents 25 to 30 percent off its best available rates, depending on the time of year, as well as free parking.

Marriott Resorts Hawaii
With Dollar Days, when agents book their clients for four nights or more, they receive a $25 American Express gift check. Suite bookings earn them $100. The offer is good at Kauai Marriott Resort; Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa; Wailea Beach Resort-Marriott, Maui; and Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.

Outrigger Hotels & Resorts
Agents who are certified Outrigger Experts pick up triple reward points on five-night stays at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. They also land 30 reward points for each night booked at the soon-to-be-rebranded Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger. Agents can turn their points into hotel getaways.

Prince Resorts Hawaii
With agent program Plumeria Rewards, members accumulate points for bookings. On top of that, they receive $50 when putting clients in club rooms and suites at Prince Waikiki and $100 for suite bookings at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel (through March 31).

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach
Timed with the debut of its Grand Four Bedroom Duplex Suite — the only of its kind in Waikiki — The Ritz-Carlton is offering agents two free nights in a deluxe oceanview studio when they book the new suite for clients. Act fast; the booking window closes on March 31.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Hawaii
For 2018, Starwood is continuing its Mahalo Rewards program, where each four-night booking earns agents a Visa gift card worth up to $100. Its ongoing Aloha Amenity initiative gives clients welcome gifts unique to each property. For instance, Sheraton Maui guests receive a logo cooler bag, and Sheraton Kona arrivals receive Kona coffee.
