What’s the latest in hotel happenings? Read about four end-the-year hotel updates you might have missed.

Opening on Jan. 7, Secrets Playa Bonita Panama will be AMResorts’ first property in Panama (followed by Dreams Buenaventura in December). The adults-only resort will have 310 rooms, six dining options and free Wi-Fi and international calling to the U.S. and Canada.

Park Hyatt Mallorca, Park Hyatt’s first hotel in Spain and first resort hotel in Europe, will open in spring 2016. The hotel will overlook Canyamel Valley and have 142 guestrooms and 16 suites.

In April, Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel will make its debut along Chao Phraya River. Standing 26 stories tall, the hotel will have 251 guestrooms and suites with views of the river and city.

St. Regis Langkawi will launch April 6 with 85 suites and four water villas overlooking the Straits of Malacca. The property will have five dining venues, an Iridium Spa and feature the largest swimmable lagoon in Malaysia.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts will be opening in November on Banana Bay. The property’s beach will overlook The Narrows, a strait that separates St. Kitts and Nevis, a volcanic island.

The Guest House at Graceland in Memphis is set to debut in October. The largest hotel project in Memphis for more than 90 years, the 450-room hotel will be designed around Elvis Presley’s signature style.

Opening in late 2016, the Intercontinental Singapore Robertson Quay will be the second Intercontinental Hotel to launch in Singapore. Designed by RB Capital, the five-star property will have 227 rooms with views of the Singapore River.

Opening in spring 2016, Grand Hyatt Chengdu will make its debut in the capital of Sichuan Province in China. Designed by renowned architect Tony Chi, the property will boast rooms featuring a mix of traditional Chinese elements with contemporary design.

Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver will also be making its debut in 2016. The 147-room property is set to become Vancouver’s second tallest building at 57 stories and will have a Mar-a-Lago Spa, pool-bar nightclub and banquet and conference center.
