New Hyatt Brands Coming to China

Hyatt Hotels Corporation plans to introduce two new brands in China: Hyatt Place, an upscale and stylish service brand aimed at the multi-tasking traveler, and Hyatt House, an extended-stay brand. Hyatt Place Shenzhen, Dongmen, opens this month and will be the first Hyatt Place Hotel in the Asia Pacific region. The site will offer spacious guestrooms with signature Hyatt Grand Beds, a complimentary hot breakfast and 24-hour amenities, including a gym and multiple eateries. More than a dozen Hyatt Place properties throughout China are in development, including Hyatt Place Beijing and Hyatt Place Kunming. Though opening dates have not yet been announced, Hyatt House locations in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Sanya and Wuxi, China are also under way.
