The Details

In preparation for its official rebranding in December as Zoetry Villa Rolandi Isla Mujeres Cancun, AMResorts will provide sales, marketing and brand management services to the property beginning June 1. The property will become the fourth Zoetry Wellness & Spa Resort, joining properties in Los Cabos, Punta Cana and Riviera Maya.

The property is located on a stretch of white-sand beach eight minutes from downtown Isla Mujeres and the main ferry terminal and 20 minutes from Cancun.  Zoetry Villa Rolandi will have 35 oceanfront suites with Jacuzzi terraces, gourmet à la carte dining at the Italian-Swiss restaurant Casa Rolandi, a full-service, state-of-the-art Spa & Thalasso Center, a heat-regulated natural seawater pool and a private marina with its own 42-foot yacht that transports guests between Cancun and the resort.

The brand’s Endless Privileges program features deluxe touches including Bvlgari bath amenities, maid service three times each day, 24-hour concierge services, complimentary 24-hour laundry service, complimentary Wi-Fi, unlimited world-wide calls and a complimentary 20-minute wellness or fitness consultation.

AMResort’s Zoetry brand was a byproduct of the real estate boom that predated the economic crash of 2008, according to Alex Zozoya, AMResorts' CEO and president. Zozoya noticed that many major real estate developments included a boutique-size hotel. When the market went south and the hotels were under-utilized, Zozoya saw an opportunity to take over the properties and create the Zoetry brand. He emphasized that Zoetry properties all have wellness facilities and treatments and green, guilt-free luxury, two qualities that many sophisticated travelers request.
