As one of the West’s most popular getaways, Los Cabos and its variety of packages make it easy for agents to find fun for their clients. Whether it’s a short stay or a weeklong getaway, packages throughout the area should help maximize your clients’ time in Mexico.
The oceanfront Casa Dorada on Medano Beach is just steps away from the action of Cabo San Lucas and offers up to six girlfriends a 2,000-square-foot, two-bedroom suite, complete with separate living and dining areas, kitchen, grand terrace and a marble bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.
A junior suite at Marquis Los Cabos
Girlfriends are treated to one dinner in-suite and a dinner at Casa Dorada’s 12 Tribes restaurant, which includes a complimentary bottle of wine. Also included is a private tour of Todos Santos, as well as a limousine with VIP host and bottle service to take girlfriends shopping or exploring art and cultural attractions. Daily buffet breakfast and all taxes and gratuities are also included. The package is available through Dec. 19 and rates for three nights start at $960 per person for a minimum of four people.
At the Marquis Los Cabos, girl or guy friends can ride the waves with surfing lessons in the Sea of Cortez or hit the links for two rounds of golf at nearby Cabo del Sol and shuffle the cards during a poker night with the resort’s Surf & Turf Getaway. Upon arrival, guests receive a signature cocktail, ice-cold beers and chips with guacamole, as well as a special cigar gift box (for the boys). Clients stay in a junior suite or private pool casita with oceanfront views and a spacious balcony. Guests also receive daily buffet breakfast at the resort’s restaurant, Vista Ballenas, and unlimited access to the gym and Jacuzzis. Available through Dec. 15, the five-day, four-night getaway starts at $2,100 per person.
Clients looking for an adrenaline rush should head to Casa Dorada for their Wild Canyon Adventure and Sky Helicopter packages.
At Wild Canyon Ekopark, clients can dare to take the ultimate Monster Zipline adventure (with up to three friends in tandem) and zip along Baja’s longest zipline — 2,700 feet. The Wild Canyon Adventure package includes three nights in an oceanview junior suite, a $50 credit toward food and beverages at the resort, two tickets to Wild Canyon Ekopark, complimentary transportation to and from the park and more. Rates for two people start at $1,462 through Oct. 10.
Another way to take to the sky at the Casa Dorada is via helicopter. Clients can save up to 40 percent through Dec. 18 with the resort’s Sky Helicopter Package. In a private helicopter, clients fly over the USS Intrepid, cruise past the renowned Land’s End Rock, view magnificent Arctic blue whales during whale-watching season and sweep up the Pacific Coast to see celebrity homes in Pedregal, a private, residential community in Cabo San Lucas.
The Sky Helicopter Package includes three nights in an oceanview junior suite, a $50 credit for food and beverages, two tickets for the 60-minute Sky Helicopter Tour and all taxes and service fees. Rates begin at $1,452 through Oct. 10 and $1,578 to Dec. 18.
Cabo Azul Resort & Spa is the place to play for families looking for a weeklong getaway. Families staying four nights get the fifth night free, as well as daily breakfast for four.
However, families wanting to live it up can book the Family Getaway package and receive six days and five nights in a two-bedroom villa. The oceanview Grand Villa offers a bedroom, living area, dining area, full kitchen and a bathroom. The package, which starts at $1,700, also includes daily breakfast for four and is available for travel through Dec. 18.
At the 332-villa resort, parents can enjoy a state-of-the-art spa and swim-up bar while kids splash around in the property’s tri-level infinity pool.
