A Dream is becoming a reality in Huatulco. The newest addition to the upscale family of properties in Mexico’s most desirable destinations, Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa, is set to debut in November following a multi-million-dollar enhancement to treat couples and couples with children to an Unlimited-Luxury vacation.

Located in the southern state of Oaxaca, Dreams Huatulco will become the brand’s first property in this upscale tourism location. It sits on one of the Pacific Coast’s most pristine beaches overlooking Tangolunda Bay, the largest of the area’s nine dazzling bays with golden beaches and sapphire blue waters of the Pacific.

The newly enhanced resort will close in May to undergo the transformation, and then reopen in November with an extensive offering of first-class amenities and services. Guests will enjoy a high level of luxury and relaxed ambience in Huatulco’s breathtaking environment.

Dreams Huatulco will feature 419 luxurious suites with striking views, air conditioning, fully-equipped bathroom with Jacuzzi, 24-hour room and concierge services, daily refreshed mini-bars and more. Guests will also enjoy a choice of six specialty themed restaurants and six bars scattered throughout the premises.

In addition, visitors of all ages can indulge in a variety of activities and entertainment including kayaking, snorkeling, volleyball, dance classes and other forms of fun. The resort’s Preferred Club area delivers an even higher level of service, with daily afternoon and evening hors d’oeuvres in the club lounge, upgraded amenities, private concierge, Internet access, pillow menu, expanded mini-bar selections, access to a private Preferred Club pool and balconies with Jacuzzi areas.

The resort is located 20 minutes from Huatulco International Airport and five minutes from Tangolunda Golf Course. Neighboring points of interest include popular tourism destinations such as Copalita Waterfalls, La Bocana Lagoon and Rio Copalita.

“We are thrilled to bring Unlimited-Luxury to this beautiful region of Mexico with the new Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa,” said Kevin Wojciechowski, vice president of sales and marketing of AMResorts, Dreams Resorts & Spas’ parent company. “We are confident that both new and returning guests will be delighted by all the enhancements underway throughout the resort. This is an exciting new destination for guests who have experienced and love all the Dreams brand has to offer.”

Couples with children will appreciate the resort’s Explorers’ Kids Club, reserved for younger guests ages 3-12. This fully supervised children’s program entertains with daily programs based on science, nature and exploration. Activities include sandcastle competitions, arts, crafts, big-screen movies on the beach, ocean trampoline, Euro-Bungee, a game room, large playground, theater, rock-climbing wall and weekly campout adventures.

For those seeking relaxation, the property’s spa will offer a sublime atmosphere of pure indulgence combining hydrotherapy and soothing signature treatments. Completing the stimulating and peaceful experience are couples treatment rooms, outdoor massage cabins, a lush outdoor garden, a hydrotherapy area featuring indoor Jacuzzis and showers, a plunge pool, foot baths, sauna and steam bath. The Spa also features a fitness center, plus a full-service beauty salon offering hair treatments, waxing, manicures and pedicures. Additionally, Dreams’ planned convention center will make it the perfect venue for meetings and incentive travelers.
