Anyone who has traveled with toddlers knows what a challenge it can be. Just loading the car for a simple day trip can make you marvel at how much baby gear you're carrying. The problems multiply when you add air travel to the equation, especially with the current charges for checked baggage. Rosewood Mayakoba in the Riviera Maya has stepped forward to make vacationing with kids a lot easier. The resort has introduced a baby and kids concierge whose services allow parents to pack light by having all the comforts of home waiting en suite and an organic baby menu available at Rosewood Mayakoba's restaurants.

After making a reservation, guests are provided with a questionnaire to indicate their travel preferences so that the resort can personalize their vacation experience.

A portion of the form includes a comprehensive menu of necessities (complete with images) of diapers, baby wipes, baby talc, diaper rash cream and formula. From Huggies and Pampers to Similac and Enfamil, the menu provides a range of familiar brands that parents are likely to use at home. Guests simply select the products and quantities that they require, and the items are ready and waiting upon arrival. Additionally, suites can be equipped with a high chair, a crib and can even be baby-proofed upon request. Though the baby and kids concierge service is free, guests are charged for the products. While at the resort, guests can also request the Rose Buds Baby Menu at any of the resort's restaurants to provide their kids with a healthy diet of organic fruits and vegetables, selected daily by the executive chef.

"We understand the challenges of traveling with small children and how even the smallest things, such as not having to worry about packing diapers or wipes for a seven day trip, can help ease the stress," said Pablo Graf, managing director and vice president of Rosewood Mayakoba. "Plus, the comfort of knowing that they have access to all their usual brands and products should they run out helps put concerned parents at ease."
