A Splendid Affair

During the naming ceremony for the Carnival Splendor, performer Myleene Klass played piano on the Lido Deck as a member of Britain’s Royal Navy hoisted a bottle of 1994 vintage Nyetimber English sparkling wine to the top of the ship’s bow for the christening.

During the naming ceremony for the Carnival Splendor, performer Myleene Klass played piano on the Lido Deck as a member of Britain’s Royal Navy hoisted a bottle of 1994 vintage Nyetimber English sparkling wine to the top of the ship’s bow for the christening.

The July 10 event took place in Dover, England, and included speeches by senior cruise director and blogger John Heald and Carnival president and CEO Gerry Cahill.
