Aston Hotels & Resorts Announces Sweepstakes Winner

Matthew Jeong Wins One Million Hawaiian Airline Miles

Aston Hotels & Resorts recently announced that Matthew Jeong, a Davis, Calif. resident, is the winner of Aston’s Million Miles Sweepstakes. Jeong found out that he was the recipient of the promotion’s grand prize — one million Hawaiian Airlines miles — via a knock on his door. Jeong’s winnings will be added to his HawaiianMiles account and may be used toward anything in the HawaiianMiles redemption program, including flights to any destination serviced by Hawaiian Airlines and its partners.

“My first thought was, wow, I never thought people ever won these drawings,” said Jeong. “I am so glad I entered!”

Jeong and his family make yearly trips to Hawaii. He says that they really enjoy staying at the Aston Pacific Monarch and Aston at the Waikiki Banyan because both properties offer the convenience of a condominium resort with full kitchens. Jeong plans to use his miles to travel to Australia or Japan.

“We are pleased and amazed at the response to our contest,” said Kevin Bloom, president, Aston Hotels & Resorts. “The excitement created by this contest is a positive reflection of our enthusiastic base of guests, plus the new Aston fans we gained through the web and through the social media marketing of the contest.”

In addition to the grand prize winner, three first place prize winners were each awarded five-night hotel accommodations at one of Aston’s Oahu resorts.
