Julie Wagner has been appointed in the newly created position of marketing director at the Beverly Hills Conference and Visitors Bureau (BHCVB), a company promoting tourism in Beverly Hills, Calif. Wagner will supervise the development of the organization’s overall marketing strategy and its implementation.
Wagner previously worked at software technology company, OurHistree, as director of hospitality marketing, after working in the marketing department of Hilton Worldwide for 17 years. Her work in the Hilton marketing department included roles as the director of international marketing and the senior director of brand marketing, in which she oversaw the marketing strategies for Hilton’s three luxury brands.
“Julie [Wagner] joins our organization at a pivotal time for BHCVB,” said Kathy Smits, executive director of BHCVB. “Her expertise will benefit us well as we revamp our strategies and implement new metrics to further deliver results-based marketing.”
