Carlson Travel Franchise group has launched a new franchise
operation for agents who want to sell cruises out of their homes.
Called SeaMaster Cruises, the package includes training and
support, marketing programs, a proprietary selling system
integrated with customer relationship management and access to
enhanced commissions through Carlson’s overall buying power.
Commission payments will be made by direct deposit every two weeks.
“Well over 25 percent of all legitimate sellers of travel in the
U.S. are now opting to base themselves in their homes. ... We will
not cede this burgeoning segment of our industry to anyone else,”
said Roger Block, executive vice president of the Carlson franchise
The SeaMaster franchise fee is $9,500, but for a limited time
Carlson is cutting that in half to $4,750 for initial participants.
