Carnival Cruise Lines Heads Into the New Year With New Faces

Carnival Cruise Lines recently promoted 30-year travel industry veteran Mike Julius to managing director of U.S. sales. Julius is responsible for the cruise line’s sales efforts in its entirety throughout the U.S.

In addition, Carnival also appointed Justin French as managing director of international sales. Rounding out his seventh year with Carnival and previously in charge of all of the cruise line’s sales and marketing for Canada, French now oversees all non-U.S. related trade sales.

“Carnival has the most experienced sales team in cruising — with more than 1,000 years of collective cruise industry service,” said Joni Rein, Carnival’s vice president of worldwide sales. “With these new appointments, we are able to maximize the contributions of our existing personnel while continuing to be a cruise industry innovator and provide the highest level of service to our valued travel agent partners.”
