Carnival Fills Newly Created Position

Roberta Jacoby, a 33-year cruise industry veteran, has been named senior vice president of corporate special projects for Carnival Corporation.

In this newly created position, Jacoby will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives for Carnival’s affiliated brands throughout North America, Europe and Australia. She will report to Carnival Corporation vice chairman and chief operating officer Howard Frank.

Jacoby previously served as senior vice president of hotel operations for Carnival Cruise Lines. She has also chaired the line’s Quality Assurance Team that visits each ship in order to evaluate the product and meet with shipboard personnel.
