Participating chefs at Capella Pedregal’s Food and Wine Festival
Last month, luxury resort Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas hosted its second annual Food and Wine Festival, an intimate event curated by the resort’s food and beverage director Marco Bustamante. Participating chefs included Tim Hollingsworth, former chef de cuisine at French Laundry, Phillipe Schmidt of Phillipe Restaurant, Dean Fearing of Fearing’s Restaurant, Kent Rathbun of Abacus and Yvan Mucharraz, Capella Pedregal’s executive chef, among others.
Gourmands at the festival were treated to four days of interactive foodie events, including a welcome reception with artisanal cheeses from the region, cooking demonstrations by various chefs, a tequila seminar, wine tastings and a beach barbecue. The event was capped by five-course dinners prepared by individual chefs and an after-party.
