Jerry Westenhaver has been named the new general manager of Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa.

Westenhaver is an industry veteran who helped open and maintain the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach in 1976. Since then, he has extended his leadership and managerial skills to various Hyatt locations across the country and most recently served as the general manager for the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa in New Mexico.

“This is an exciting move for my family and me,” said Westenhaver. “Oahu literally is our home, and we are pleased to return to this incredible community. Being a part of the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach legacy is an honor, and I am looking forward to working with our Hyatt ohana again.”
