The fifth annual Gourmet Inclusive Vacation Consultant (GIVC) Awards and Sales & Marketing Forum, held at El Dorado Royale, a Spa Resort, by Karisma on Oct. 31-Nov. 3, recognized top travel professionals, introduced new tools and incentives specifically for travel agents and announced the latest resort updates.
Agents who achieve Diamond status, a special recognition for Gourmet Inclusive Vacation Consultants in which five diamond ranks as the highest status reflecting impressive knowledge and support of El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels, will receive complimentary unlimited day passes for personal use while at El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels by Karisma. GIVCs also receive a 50 percent discount for family and friends traveling with them as well as upgrade coupons for clients for accommodations and amenities, including organic spa treatments and dining.
The brand’s latest tool for agents takes shape in video and digital form with the launch of Karisma TV, a compilation of brief videos and e-commercials which can be customized for travel agents’ needs. Furthermore, new digital brochures will enable quick and easy online sharing.
Karisma Hotels & Resorts also announced a new premium section at El Dorado Seaside Suites boasting beach and pool butler service, a new wedding office and lobby and an additional restaurant and bar. The El Dorado Generations Riviera Maya will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom connecting suites and caters to teens with multi-use courts, dive-in movies, food trucks and a game room.
These additions to Karisma Hotel & Resorts services follow the unveiling of two new properties — El Dorado Generations Maroma and Azul Villa Esmeralda — and an announcement regarding the brand’s expansion into Jamaica.
