Nigel Osborne has been appointed as executive vice president for Key Tours, a European and Mediterranean tour operator. His responsibilities will include sales, marketing and the retail channel distribution for the company.
Since October of 2005, Osborne has served as executive vice president and chief business development officer for Dynamic Leisure Group. Previously, he was president of Destination Europe within the package division of Auto Europe, and before that he served as president of Insight Vacations. At Insight Vacations, he was able to successfully execute turnaround strategies, including tripling annual revenues, reducing expenses and improving the bottom line by more than $1 million over a four-year period. He began his career with Trafalgar Tours.
“With Osborne’s experience in the retail channel, Key Tours will be able to accelerate the product offerings along with the technology to help agents grow their profits and business,” Key Tours’ CEO, Koray Edemen, said.
New Sales Manager at ResortQuest Hawaii
Lauren Fisher has joined ResortQuest Hawaii as sales manager for Hawaii’s Big Island. Fisher will focus on developing new group business opportunities for ResortQuest Hawaii’s three Big Island condominium resorts: Kona by the Sea, Shores at Waikoloa and Waikoloa Colony Villas.
Most recently the sales manager for the Clift Hotel in San Francisco, Fisher’s primary responsibility was to develop group business in a wide array of vertical markets, including financial, automotive, art legal, advertising, non-profit and social sectors. A graduate of Cornell University, she has a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and management.
Villa Group Resorts Appoints New General Manager
Villa Group Resorts has announced the appointment of Joamilka Contreras to the position of general manager for the Villa La Estancia Beach Resort & Spa Nuevo Vallarta. She will be responsible for daily operations of the new beachfront resort and to develop a high caliber team to deliver the finest in accommodation, hospitality, service and amenities.
Prior to this position at Villa Group Resorts, Contreras has worked with several companies throughout Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Contreras has participated in training seminars and special courses at Cornell University, focusing in strategic management and sales and marketing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration. Carlos Aquino, corporate director of the Villa Group Resorts Vallarta, said of Contreras, “We know that her background brings great expertise to our newest property. Signature adds new VP of Strategic Business Development
Signature Travel Network has announced the addition of Michael von Wittenau as vice president of strategic business development. In this position, he will undertake new initiatives aimed to increase Signature’s leisure sales.
With 23 years of experience, Wittenau has had an extensive career within the travel industry, working for companies such as American Hawaii Cruises and Sea Goddess. He then pursued the hospitality industry where he held a myriad of positions in hotel operations and sales with Pan Pacific Hotels. Most recently, he was the director of business development and group sales at Crystal Cruises, where he created and headed successful meetings and the incentive department. Additionally, Wittenau constructed and put into operation CrystalCruisesAcademy.com, an online training platform for front-line consultants.

Outrigger Announces Promotion
Gregg Enright has been promoted to regional director of condominium operations Kauai in addition to taking on the role of general manager of the Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa. His responsibilities will consist of ensuring the utmost levels of service to owners and guests, overseeing day-to-day operations and supervising all departments. Enright will focus specifically on owner relations.
Working in a variety of management positions prior to and throughout his 20 years at Outrigger, Enright has extensive experience in the industry. His numerous positions include food and beverage manager at the then Outrigger Prince Kuhio Hotel, hotel manager at the Outrigger Waikoloa Beach Resort and resident/operations manager at the Outrigger Islander Waikiki. Most recently, he served as general manager of the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort since 2004.
