On Aug. 1, Roberto Martinoli, president of Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) will move into a consulting capacity for the company. In his new position, Martinoli will continue to oversee NCL’s newbuild program and will assist in other areas, as necessary.

For personal reasons, Martinoli has accepted a position as CEO of a ferry company in his hometown of Genoa, Italy, where his family resides.

Kevin Sheehan will take on the role of president, which he held prior to his appointment as the line’s CEO.
