NCL Corp. said the second U.S.-flagged ship to sail in Hawaii will
launch service on July 23, 2005.
The Pride of America will offer seven-day roundtrips from
Honolulu or Maui, as well as three- and four-day cruises between
Honolulu and Maui.
NCL America already operates the Pride of Aloha, which cruises
weekly from Honolulu. Meanwhile, the Norwegian Wind will continue
to operate 10- and 11-day cruises from Honolulu that include a stop
in remote Fanning Island.
“With two NCL America ships sailing inter-island cruises and a
Norwegian Cruise Line ship sailing a Hawaii/Fanning Island
itinerary, this will be the largest cruise deployment ever for
Hawaii,” said Colin Veitch, president and CEO of NCL Corp.
