Loews Hotels has announced Michael Palmeri as its new vice president of acquisitions and development. Palmeri will play a role in tactical initiatives that the company is undertaking in order to expand its hotel platform and property portfolio.

“Michael brings a wealth of experience to his new role,” said Troy Furbay, executive vice president of acquisitions and development at Loews Hotels. “We’re pleased to welcome him to New York and look forward to what we anticipate will be a long and successful career as Loews Hotels continues to grow.”

Palmeri holds extensive ownership experience, and most recently served as vice president and principal for Abacus. At Loews, Palmeri will work to grow the Loews brand in North America and resort destinations, overseeing and navigating this expansion.
