Richard D. Fain, Royal Caribbean Cruises chairman and CEO, has been inducted into the British Travel and Hospitality Industry Hall of Fame.

Fain has been with Royal Caribbean since 1979. Under Fain’s guidance, the business has grown to become the world’s second-largest cruise line operator.

Joining Fain in the 2012 Hall of Fame were Abercrombie & Kent founder and executive chairman Geoffrey Kent; International Airlines Group chief executive Willie Walsh; Rezidor Hotel Group president and chief executive Kurt Ritter; and Stagecoach Group chief executive and co-founder Brian Souter.
