Last month, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company hosted a red carpet-themed event at The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles at L.A. Live for some of the brand’s most valuable travel partners. Representatives from 35 Ritz-Carlton hotels and resorts around the world were on hand to speak with West Coast travel agents over cocktails and a buffet-style dinner provided by Wolfgang Puck Catering.

Agents also posed for photos with celebrity lookalikes, listened to the music of Dave Damiani and the No Vacancy Orchestra and watched a performance by Vybration, an a capella group, inspired by the show, “Glee.” At the end of the evening, attendees were entered into a raffle to win travel prizes. Among the five winners, Marsha Lewis from Frosh Classic Cruise and Travel took home a two-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and Amy Furie from New Act Travel won a three-night stay at the Waikiki Edition.

“Luxury lodging and luxury travel is definitely on the rebound,” said Chris Gabaldon, chief sales and marketing officer for the brand, in his address to agents. “Thank you for leading the recovery.”
