Signature Travel Network is teaming up with the Food Network to create culinary travel programs

During Signature Travel Network’s Dec. 5 annual meeting in Las Vegas, Michael von Wittenau, vice president, strategic business development, announced that the consortium would be partnering with the Food Network to offer “engaging culinary travel programs exclusively to Food Network fans.”

“Signature Travel Network is excited to partner with Food Network to bring together two of the public’s universal passions: food and travel,” said Wittenau. “The Food Network travel programs will use Signature’s extensive travel related services, expertise and technology to provide Food Network viewers with many opportunities to personally interact with the network’s popular stars through authentic culinary experiences in some of the most exciting destinations around the world.”

Signature plans to offer a range of exclusive Food Network programs in 2010, including cruises with the network’s stars and cruises based on shows; trips tied to specific culinary trends; and weekend getaways to areas such as Napa Valley, Calif.
